What types of advertising are available?
Thank you for your interest in advertising on Kate.net! Text link, banner, and email newsletter advertising opportunities are available on Kate.net. See below for details about each type of advertising.
Text Ads - Fixed-Price or CPM Rates via AdBrite:
- Location of Ads: These ads are currently running in the right-hand column on many of the Kate.net pages and at the bottom of the center (main) content on other pages. These ads are also on the home page. Once you place your ad, it will run on ALL of the pages which contain the AdBrite text ad block, not just on one page or just in one section. Your ad will gain exposure throughout the site.
- Run Time: Choose to run your ad with fixed pricing for 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days, or choose to set a daily budget and set your max price for CPM. See the AdBrite site for
current fixed pricing rates or to set up CPM advertising.
- Payment Method: AdBrite accepts only credit card payments via their secure site.
- How to Purchase: Purchase these ads via the automatic online AdBrite service without needing to contact Kate.net (or anyone else) directly.
To get started:
- Click on the "Put Your Text Ad on Kate.net" link at the bottom of the ad block in the right-hand column on this page or on any page with the same ad block.
- On the next (AdBrite) page, click on the "Buy ads only on Kate.net" link within the gray-outlined box near the bottom right or on the gray "Purchase ads" button on the right-hand side of the page under the "Advertise on Kate.net" section. (AdBrite rotates between
two different starting pages.) Note: If you want to see the fixed-rate pricing, do NOT select the "Text Ad CPM" radio button before clicking on the "Purchase ads" button.
- From the following page, select the type of ad you wish to place and follow the AdBrite prompts.
All ads are subject to approval.
Basic Text Links - Fixed-Price Rates:
- Location of Ads: Basic Text Links are placed within the "Resources" links within specific sections of the Kate.net site. For example, if your link is for Halloween costumes, it would be placed within the "Costumes" resource links on the Kate.net Haunted Halloween section of the site.
- Run Time: Choose to run your ad for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
- Payment Method: Payment is accepted via PayPal only.
- How to Purchase: Contact Kate.net via the method listed below with your desired text link ad, desired run length, and desired resource links section to receive a quote.
All ads are subject to approval.
Other Text Links, Text Block Ads, Banners - Fixed-Price Rates:
- Location of Ads: Locations and sizes of these types of ads are negotiable (i.e., on a specific page, within the main content block, in the right-hand column, etc.)
- Run Time: Choose to run your ad for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
- Payment Method: Payment is accepted via PayPal only.
- How to Purchase: Contact Kate.net via the method listed below with your desired ad, desired run length, and desired placement location on the site to receive a quote.
All ads are subject to approval.
Email Newsletter Advertising - Fixed-Price Rates:
- Run Time: Choose to run your ad in a specified number of Kate.net email newsletters (your choice).
- Payment Method: Payment is accepted via PayPal only.
